Jack Neo’s Latest ‘Ah Girls Go Army’ Heads to Cinemas Chinese New Year 20221 min read

Spinning off from the smash-hit Ah Boys to Men series, Ah Girls Go Army imagines a future where shrinking population numbers has led to the necessity of females serving National Service.

Actress Apple Chan reprises her role as Lieutenant Zhang from Ah Boys to Men 4, guiding Singapore’s first batch of female recruits from various backgrounds. Familiar faces from the series are also expected to make special cameo appearances. Directed by Jack Neo and distributed by J Team productions and mm2 Entertainment, the film is slated for release on 1 February 2022.

The film has also put out a casting call to fill minor roles. During the press conference announcing the film, director Neo shared that they will be looking for talents of varying personalities, body types and backgrounds to capture the intended diversity of the film’s female recruits.
