Radio DDC is home to fascinating conversations and stories unearthed from the Library’s collections. Its first four-part series dives into Singapore’s musical history. Featuring highlights from MusicSG and guests from the industry, Radio DDC covers a broad range of topics from the campaign jingles Singaporeans have grown to love, to the lesser-known history of Singapore’s contributions to early Hong Kong films.
Helmed by librarians from library@esplanade, each episode of Moving Art sheds light on aspects of film, music, theatre, dance. The podcast’s first mini-series is hosted by film librarian Melissa Kawasoe as she takes listeners on an engaging film journey filled with foley effects and background music akin to a radio drama. The four-part mini-series features topics such as horror films and the beloved works of Hayao Miyazaki.
