Catch the Award-Winning Japanese Smash Hit ‘Sumikkogurashi: The Movie’ in an Exclusive Fans’ Screening2 min read
Reading Time: 2 minutesBe one of the first in Singapore to catch Sumikkogurashi: The Movie in an exclusive fans’ screening at Golden Village. There are two fan screening sessions – the Japanese version and the English dubbed version. These exclusive screenings will take place at 3pm and 3:30pm respectively on Saturday, 14 November at GV VivoCity. Patrons who purchase tickets to the fan screening will receive a goodie bag consisting of a sticker sheet, B6 notebook and a tote bag.
Sumikkogurashi: The Movie was awarded the Best Animation of the Year at the 29th Annual Japan Movie Critics Award earlier this June. Apart from the movie, the cute Sumikkogurashi characters also won the Japan Character Award Grand Prix in 2019. The film also reached number 1 at the Japanese box office, earning a whopping 1.3 billion yen as of January 2020.
