Spanish Film Festival Returns to Singapore in Early November1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteFrom 5 to 15 November Singaporeans will be able to watch a selection of the best Spanish movies of 2019. The edition of this year has been made possible thanks to the partnership of Embassy of Spain and Filmgarde Bugis+, where all films will be shown.
“Our intention is to showcase a panorama of the Spanish cinema made last year, before this new normal came into our lives. We wanted to return to the cinema halls, where you really enjoy cinema and where you can reconnect with other moviegoers, despite keeping the social distance and the reduced capacity of the halls” said a spokesman from the Embassy of Spain.
The film selected for the opening night on 5 November is “BOI” (PG13), a black comedy about a young man starting out in a new job as a chauffeur. He must accompany his first clients, Michael and Gordon (played by Adrian Pang and Andrew Lua) two Singaporean businessmen who have travelled to Barcelona in order to close a multimillion-dollar deal.
Singaporean actors Adrian Pang and Andrew Lua will attend the event and they will share with us their experiences on shooting the film in Barcelona.
