Oscars Shortlist: Academy Reveals Remaining Contenders in Nine Categories1 min read

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced shortlists in consideration for the Oscars in nine categories: documentary feature, documentary short subject, international feature film, makeup and hairstyling, music (original score), music (original song), animated short film, live action short film and visual effects.

Among the films listed, writer-director Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite appears on several categories, including International Feature Film, Music (Original Song), though the list of categories isn’t complete. Overall, Parasite ends its strong run for the year at the Oscars.
