Singapore Film Distribution Company Anticipate Pictures Launches The Anticipatron Program1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteSingapore film distribution company Anticipate Pictures has announced the Anticipatron Program. Charging S$36 as a trial, members of the program will have the opportunity to watch a new AP film during the first weekend of the first three months of 2020.
To kick things off, Anticipatron will be screening Alejandro Landes’ Monos on 4 January 2020. Syrian documentary For Sama and Wang Xiaoshuai’s So Long, My Son is slated for the following months, with plans to screen CĂ©line Sciamma’s Portrait of a Lady on Fire in the future.
In a letter to subscribers of Anticipate Pictures’ mailing list, founder Vincent Quek described the program as an opportunity to for the company and its members to touch base every month and to “talk about movies after.”
