‘Makmum’ Most-Viewed Indonesian Movie in Malaysia, Nabs Muri Award1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteIndonesian horror movie Makmum has been named the most-viewed Indonesian film in Malaysia in 2018 – 2019, booking total revenue of 7.15 million Malaysian ringgit (US$1.7 million) in 25 days of screening time since 15 August.
To honour the success, producer Dheeraj Kalwani of Dee Company received a certificate from the Indonesian Museum of Records (MURI) for outstanding achievement.
Helmed by Hadrah Daeng, the movie was released simultaneously in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam.
