METUB WebTVAsia Awards to Celebrate Top Asian Creators in Vietnam6 min read
Reading Time: 4 minutesDigital entertainment leaders WebTVAsia and METUB Network are co-presenting Asia’s most celebrated digital creator awards, the METUB WebTVAsia Awards, in Ho Chi Minh City on 5th December 2019.
The ground-breaking awards is an annual showpiece recognising top Asian creators in the digital video space, where their outstanding achievements and contributions towards the industry will take centre stage.
Previous editions of WebTVAsia Awards held in Malaysia and Korea saw over 200 A-list and digital stars gracing the red carpet, among them Girls Generation, Momoland, Piko Taro, Chipu, Radiofish, Kim Domingo, Bie The Ska.
The awards ceremony holds about 600 attendees, with more than 200 guests from all around Asia.
Many A-list artists and content creators in Vietnam and Asia have confirmed their attendance to the Awards. From Chi Pu – the sensational breakout star, Bich Phuong – Gem of Pop Ballads, Den – A phenomenal rapper, to Ngoc Trinh – The Iconic Trendsetter and many others.
Vietnam, the fastest growing digital market in Southeast Asia, is in the spotlight this year with the awards themed “Celebrate Asia: Rise of Vietnam”, and will be attended by over 600 industry captains and celebrities across the region.
Co-organizers WebTVAsia and METUB Network are promising a night of celebration for the most influential industry stakeholders: creators, brands and media, with performances by an all-star line-up to be announced on their official social media leading up to the event.
Nominees from 33 award categories are currently being judged by an independent jury panel, with winners to be awarded by respected presenters from the industry on the night itself.
The judges for the award ceremony includes an assembly of local and international music experts, directors, marketing experts and journalists.
