Reading Time: < 1 minuteLed by Chairman National Artist Virgilio Almario and executive director Al Ryan Alejandre, NCCA convenes the third year of Tingin Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Film Festival highlighting the indigenous languages and cultures in Southeast Asia in celebration of the Year of Indigenous Languages.
The festival aims to introduce and showcase Asean indigenous languages and cultures through cinema to Filipino audiences particularly film students and enthusiasts; provide a platform of Philippine film students and practitioners and learn from renowned Southeast Asian filmmakers; and establish the annual event as highly visible and iconic brand, and strong identity with the NCCA and its Culture and Diplomacy program.
