NEWS: Recruitment of Young Filmmakers in ASEAN and Korea Opens for ASEAN-ROK FLY20191 min read

This year’s ASEAN-ROK Film Leaders Incubator: FLY2019 is taking place in Brunei from 13 – 26 November. It is a filmmaking workshop aimed at nurturing future leaders of Asian film industry with an intensive curriculum involving an online pre-production course, mentoring sessions, filmmaking exercises, the production of two short films and more. Some of the instructors in past years have included award-winning directors and producers like Eric Khoo and Won Dongyeon.

Application is open to passionate filmmakers born between 1994 and 2003. 2 finalists from each ASEAN member nation and Republic of Korea will be selected.

Eligibility:
A citizen of one of the 10 ASEAN member nations or Republic of Korea
Born in 1994-2003
No experience in any program from Busan International Film Festival-Asian Film Academy

Qualifications:
Previously made at least 2 short films
Fluent in English
