Great news for those who have yet to submit their National Youth Film Awards 2019 (NYFA) entries – the deadline has been extended to 3rd June! This means more time to put together a film that could take you to international film festivals. Together with industry partners, veterans, and institutes of higher learning, the NYFA programme is designed to spark deeper conversations amongst likeminded individuals and hone their crafts in filmmaking.
NYFA 2019 has also added even more goodies to their attractive line-up of prizes worth over S$85,000. Here’s what else you can look forward to winning:

Submission Details
Media Student Category
Maximum Runtime: 30 minutes including opening title and closing credits
All nominees must be undertaken by student(s) who are between the ages of 15-35 and is/are currently enrolled in a media-related course/module at any Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) in Singapore.
Submissions must be produced between 01 Jan 2018 and 31 May 2019 during the course of enrolment at the IHL.
Open Youth Category
Maximum Runtime: 30 minutes including opening title and closing credits
Youths between the age of 15-35 residing in Singapore during the time of the production of the submission are eligible to enter.
Submitted films must be produced in a non-commercial capacity. Branded content and commissioned works will be ineligible to enter.
