Great news for those of you who want to jump on the EVA1 bandwagon – Panasonic have now officially slashed US$1,000 off the previous MSRP of the camera. Kicking-off 2019 with a bang, Panasonic just slashed a good chunk of the price of their 5.7K AU-EVA1 camera, which is now selling at authorised dealers such as B&H for US$6,495. This of course, excludes any sales taxes.
The Panasonic AU-EVA1 ticks a lot of boxes for many shooters, thanks to its compact size and lightweight form-factor in addition to solid on-board recording options. The EVA1 has been designed for handheld shooting, but is also suited for documentaries, events, commercials, and music videos.
The newly-designed 5.7K Super 35mm sized sensor can capture up to 14-stops of latitude and features Dual Native ISOs of 800 and 2,500, which will allow cinematographers to shoot in almost any lighting environment.
