We here at Sinema frequently get invites to awesome film events like festivals and screenings, and we’d love to pass on those opportunities to you. As a Sinema contributor, you’d be able to attend those events for free (some of them come with food!) and all we ask of you is a writeup or a review afterwards. With your name on the byline!
Contributions would be largely on an event basis, but if you’re an avid cinephile, we’d be happy to post reviews of films you watch on your own time. And it’s not just limited to films; we’d love to see reviews of TV shows and web series too. It’s all in the service of making these stories more accessible to the general public – giving them a taste of what’s out there.
This is currently an unpaid position, but we reach our hands out to everyone – students looking to expand their portfolio, senior citizens looking to fill their time, journalists, film buffs, anything in between.
