Royston Tan pays tribute to Mr Lee Kuan Yew with video installation1 min read

Singaporean auteur Royston Tan, best known films like SG50 omnibus 7 Letters and Getai extravaganza 881, unveiled his video installation called A Moment of Unity, the newest addition to the We Built A Nation exhibit curated by the National Museum of Singapore.

The commissioned video compiles images of Singaporeans captured by photographers on the ground and takes a look back at what happened during the week of national mourning last year. Tan shared that the inspiration behind the video, and behind the success of Singapore, is “our people”.
