16 Singapore films to watch in 20161 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteLast year, we celebrated our SG50 with a bumper crop of 20 feature films being released.
Some films have found glowing reviews and word-of-mouth success, such as the celebrated anthology ‘7 Letters’, the R21 sex comedy ‘Rubbers’, and of course Jack Neo’s ‘Ah Boys to Frogmen’, which nearly smashed his own box office record of ‘ABTM 2′, earning over S$7million at the local box office.
Other films did not fare so well, and performed below expectations, such as the highly anticipated and much hyped “˜1965′, Royston Tan’s “˜3688′, and Cathay’s “˜Our Sister Mambo’. What local films can audiences look forward to in 2016?
