Aesthetica Short Film Festival opening this November in York1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteHosted by the Aesthetica Magazine, a well recognised publication with 180,000 readers worldwide, Aesthetica Short Film Festival (ASFF) has been a platform for independent and short film showcase, supporting a wide variety of genres from advertising, artists’ films, music video, drama and documentary. This year, the festival is back for its fifth edition from 5 to 8 November in the city of York, United Kingdom.
As 2015 marks the 5th anniversary of the festival, the audience can expect a bigger line-up of events and screenings, with 300 films curated for screenings across 11 genres and up to 24 masterclasses and panel discussions with the leading names in the industry such as Channel 4, Association of Camera Operators and Oscar. The films being screened includes exclusive UK premiers and outstanding works from the guest countries – China, Brazil and Cuba, all of which are eligible to enter the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Short Film and Animation Awards.
