Recently from 20 to 23 August, Spotlight in Singapore Cinema, a series of free screenings at Capitol Theatre has restored and brought back five early Singapore movies from 1950s to 1970s, the golden age of Singapore cinema. While young audience and filmmakers had the opportunity to experience the old Singapore through the big screed and gain a deeper understanding of the film industry then, older generations surely had a meaningful time recalling precious memories, watching the flashback in the old pictures that was improved to much higher quality.
