The Manchester Animation Festival is a new festival created to unite the international animation community in the city of Manchester. It promises to be a three-day animation extravaganza held at a new arts venue, HOME in Manchester. All techniques are eligible, but only films completed after 20 July 2014 will be considered.

Submission Categories

• Short Films: Films under 30 minutes not made by a student or person under the age of 16. Commissioned works can also be submitted into this category provided that the person submitting has permission of the rights owner.
• Graduation Films: Films created by undergraduate and post-graduate students
• Films by Children: Films created by animators who are 16 or under on completion of the film.
