Call for Entries: SPARK Short Film Competition1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteSPARK Short Film Competition 2015, organised by Singapore Power and the Energy Market Authority, is an upcoming competition which aims to promote cost-effective electricity saving ideas in order to encourage Singaporeans to consciously save electricity. The competition is open to students as well as members of the public to share various cost-effective electricity saving ideas. Submissions have to be over 30 seconds, but must not exceed 3 minutes. There is also a sub-category for videos between 6 to 15 seconds.

Best Film: $5,000
Best Cast: $1,000
Fan Favourite: $2,000
Fan Prize: $500
Best Short Short Film (6-15 seconds long): $1,000
STUDENT CATEGORY
1st Prize: $3,000
2nd Prize: $2,000
3rd Prize: $1,000
MASTERCLASSES
Participants can also register for any of the 3 masterclasses conducted by the Head Judge and local filmmaker, Wee Li Lin, between 6 June and 20 June.
Class #1: Writing the Short Film (6 June, Sat)
Class #2: Directing actors in the short film (13 June, Sat)
Class #3: Visual Palate in the short film (20 June, Sat)
