Did I miss going to the cinema and watching the latest Hollywood blockbuster? Sure. But the fact that I suddenly couldn’t didn’t feel like the end of the world. There were plenty of other things I could do with my free time.
I was also convinced that the government would eventually settle the dispute and begin showing box-office hits again, and sooner rather than later. But months passed and nothing happened. It started to bother me a little.
Then, a couple of weeks ago, I saw the trailer for the last Harry Potter film. When I realized that I wouldn’t be able to watch the last installment of the series in the cinema, I got really upset. There are some movies that have to be watched on a big screen, and Harry Potter is certainly one of them.
