Aishwarya to direct Dhanush1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteSpeculation was rife that Aishwarya Dhanush, elder daughter of Superstar Rajinikanth and wife of the talented actor Dhanush, would soon wield the megaphone for a Tamil flick.
The rumour mill was busy spreading the word that she had chosen her hubby Dhanush as the hero for her directorial debut, with Shruti Haasan as his costar. But there was no official confirmation of this either from the actor or from Aishwarya herself.
When Deccan Chronicle asked her about this project, Aishwarya, who has just returned from Singapore with her dad, (a fully-recovered Rajini), confirmed, “Yes, it is true. Talks are still going on and I will soon resume work on the project.”
A great movie buff, Aishwarya watches all types of films and has also assisted a few directors, including Dhanush’s brother Selvaraghavan in his Karthi starrer Aayirathil Oruvan.
