Reading Time: < 1 minuteTom Hanks was the final act at the Screen Singapore conference. Showing up on the red carpet on Sunday, the actor was on hand for his latest flick Larry Crowne. The Screen Singapore event, an international cinema event highlighted films from Hollywood for those in the Asian entertainment markets.
Tom Hanks with without his co-star Julia Roberts from Larry Crowne and happened to do the press junkets solo. Waving to the crowd (and cameras) it was a more relaxed setting as those in attendance are in the business.
Larry Crowne is a story of a Navy veteran who loses his job at a big-box store. He decides to enroll into community college to further his career. He befriends a group of outcasts and also falls in love with speech professor Mercedes Tainot. The film was directed by Hanks and written by Hanks and Nia Vardalos.
