Singapore bites into Bait 3D1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteHigh concept shark attack adventure Bait 3D (pictured) has proven to be a boon for all partners involved, according to the film’s producers at a sneak preview of selected footage organised in conjunction with the ScreenSingapore filmed entertainment event.
The film, partly funded by government bodies, Singapore’s Media Development Authority (MDA), Screen Australia and Film Queensland, is the first official 3-D co-production between Singapore and Australia.
Government subsidies and direct investments make up about half of the budget, says Screen Australia’s head of production investment, Ross Matthews.
Gary Hamilton, a Bait producer and managing director of Arclight Films, revealed that the film had already been sold to every territory but five – North America, United Kingdom, France, Japan and its home country Singapore.
