MediaCorp wins three World Medals at New York Festivals 20111 min read

The winning entries are programmes that were produced for and telecast on Channel NewsAsia, Channel 5 and okto, as well as a documentary produced for the international market.
It picked up two Silver World Medals: One for Listen To The Mountain Sages in the documentary category (produced by Caldecott Productions International) and the other for Asia’s Monarchies – Japan, the Channel NewsAsia documentary (in the History & Society category).
A Bronze World Medal was awarded in the Cultural Issues category for Almost Famous – Close-up For The Kathoey, another Channel NewsAsia production.
