Adhyatmika, 22, and Andra Fembriarto, 24, had been run off their feet for months organizing an event called the Voice of Young Indonesian Filmmakers, a two-day film workshop and seminar in South Jakarta.
It took months of preparation, but the two intrepid film fanatics defied odds and expectations by pulling together a who’s who of experts and leaders from the Indonesian film industry who were willing to share their valuable insights, skills and knowledge with the more than 300 seminar attendees.
The event was such a roaring success that it left many people scratching their heads as to how the two industry unknowns could have pulled off such an impressive feat.
