The film has been awarded with a U/A certificate recently and the censor board officials who have seen this film lauded the efforts of director TT Dhavamani and the actors.
Singaiyil Gurushetram will be released in Tamil Nadu by Metro Films Pvt Ltd and in Malaysia by Suara Networks (M) SDN BHD and in Sri Lanka by Events Concepts under the title Gurushetram ““ 24 hours of anger.
The movie revolves around the protagonist Prakash and his trials and tribulations in protecting his mentally challenged brother from the Singapore underworld and drug lords.
