Lu dishes up Supper1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteLu Chuan quietly started production on his new film, historical drama The Last Supper, on Wednesday 9 March on the outskirts of Beijing.
The film’s international title was only decided today.
Supper is the story of two warring generals, Liu Bang and Xiang Yu, who fought for control of China at the end of the Qin Dynsasty.
The film’s title refers to the legendary “Feast at Hong Gate” in 206BC, when Xiang invited Liu to a banquet intending to assassinate him.
