Stone to chair ScreenSingapore jury1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteUS film director, Oliver Stone (pictured) will head the jury for the Asian Short Film Awards that will be part of the upcoming ScreenSingapore convention (5-12 June 2011).
Films submitted to the event will be pre-selected by a three person jury including director, Eric Khoo, producer Devesh Chetty and critic Maggie Lee.
From a shortlist of three, Stone will select the winning film and recipient of a S$20,000 cash prize provided by Chetty’s RGM Media.
Stone, a three time Oscar-winner, is a regular visitor to Asia. Last year he toured several Asian festivals presenting his latest completed film Wall Street Money Never Sleeps.
