Reading Time: < 1 minuteIF THERE is one thing Singapore film-maker N. Mohamed Yahssir enjoys doing more than making films, it is people-watching.
“I like to observe people as they go about their daily lives. Sometimes, I go to the market near my house at 3am and watch the vendors as they start their day while everyone else is fast asleep,” he said.
The 27-year-old used to help out, during his free time, at his father’s prata stall, where he got to mingle with people from all walks of life.
His observations of people give him inspiration for his films, and has led to him clinching the top prize in a nationwide film-making competition, Project Pitching and Development with Ashok.
