Reading Time: < 1 minuteVeteran film and theater actor Amak Baldjun passed away on Tuesday at a Central Jakarta hospital, two days after he had a stroke and slipped into a coma.
He was 68.
He was repeatedly nominated for best supporting actor at the Indonesian Film Festival throughout the 1990s.
He is survived by three daughters. One of them, Farhana, said Amak had decided to take a break from acting after his last movie, the 2007 hit “Ayat-Ayat Cinta” (“The Verses of Love”).
