Reading Time: < 1 minuteSingapore legal firm Gateway Law Corporation has appointed Michael Leow as company director and head of its media and entertainment law practice.
Previously with law firms DLA Piper and Deacons in Hong Kong, Leow has advised on the financing of major films by Zhang Yimou and John Woo as well as Hollywood titles Shrek, Shrek 2 and Garfield.
According to Gateway Law Corporation website, Michael has also been involved on the creative side of the film business and recently coproduced critically acclaimed Taiwanese film “AU REVOIR TAIPEI” directed by Arvin Chen which premiered at the 2010 Berlin international Film Festival.
Michael is currently consulting on a big budget US/European coproduction to be directed by well known US directors and several other small to medium sized budget film projects.
