Reading Time: < 1 minuteItalian directors at International Film Festival of India blamed the decline of their cinema on low budgets, lack of government support, Hollywood films and television soaps.
They looked towards India for future cinema and found a lot to learn from the movie crazy Indian audience.
Italian director Marco Amenta whose debut film `Sicilian Girl` was much appreciated at the festival said, “Indians love their cinema and really celebrate their actors.
“Sadly people are more fascinated by Hollywood films and television soaps,” he added saying that Indian audiences are curious about films and culture.
