Reading Time: < 1 minuteGoa chief minister Digamber Kamat has skipped queries as to why Amitabh Bachchan was not invited for the International Film Festival of India.
Bachchan was reportedly not invited for the film festival this time as also on earlier occasions due to his political affiliations.
“It is not for me. It is up to the directorate of film festivals (that comes under the information and broadcasting ministry to call Bachchan as the guest),” Kamat said responding to a question.
“A total of 27 films will be screened here. People can get tickets on the spot and delegates also can see the movies here,” the chief minister said.
