Reading Time: < 1 minuteThe Taiwanese gangster movie Monga has been nominated in three categories at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards.
Monga has also been nominated for four categories in Taiwan’s upcoming Golden Horse Awards, which is the equivalent of the Academy Awards in the United States.
The three categories that the movie has been nominated for at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards are Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Cinematography.
The movie will compete with almost 240 works from 70 countries in the Asia Pacific region. Organizers described the film as being a “trendy gangster movie”.
