Film fest gets PM’s support1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteThe 4th Australian Malaysian Film Festival, now running until Oct 6 in Melbourne, received a moral boost recently, from the Prime Minister himself, no less. Mohd Najib also expressed his hope that through this festival, the film industries of both Malaysia and Australia would learn and improve their craft.
“Film is a powerful tool of communication which can be harnessed to improve people-to-people ties between different countries and to promote greater understanding of different cultures and lifestyles,” said Mohd Najib.
