We Are Family, the Indian remake of Stepmom, will arrive in theaters on 3 September.

After plenty of uncertainty about the release date and a previous decision to release the film on 10 September, the Karan Johar-produced comedy will move its opening forward by a week.

This will prevent its direct clash with the opening of Arbaaz Khan’s Dabangg, which is gaining considerable attention since its trailer was released earlier this month.

We Are Family stars Arjun Rampal, Kajol and Kareena Kapoor and was shot in New South Wales, Australia and Mumbai.

Dabangg is written and directed by Abhinav Kashyap, and stars veterans Salman Khan, Om Puri and Anupam Kher, in an action tale of corrupt policemen.
