For the third year running, the graduating class of the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information presents Filament 09, A Site for Home, an annual showcase of final year audio and visual project.
Filament 09, A Site for Home is a collective of 11 documentaries and video dramas that explores the themes of nation and home, touching on issues such as the fight for space in Singapore and the conflict between family and religion. For 2 nights, viewers will discover for themselves a different side of Singapore, as they take a closer look at the neighbourhood pasar malam and find out more about the local comedy scene.
This year’s event will feature 11 video projects (10 from the division of Electronic and Broadcasting Media, and one from the division of Journalism) and 1 audio project.
