SAMPLIFY!1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteWelcome to Sinema’s first film forum of 2009! This year we are continuing the insightful series of panel discussions begun last year, and furthering the dialogue on the film industry.
Each month, SAMPLIFY brings together industry insiders, movers & shakers, filmmakers, producers, media professionals, policymakers, etc. to discuss important issues facing the Singapore film business.
January’s session is on Actors. Taking a little spin off James Lipton’s Inside the Actors Studio, some of the questions we will be tackling include:
* What does it take to become a successful screen actor?
* What resources are there for aspiring screen actors?
* What are some of the challenges facing local screen actors?
Hear insights from actors with diverse short & feature film, TV and theater experience, such as Tan Kheng Hua (Cages), Sunny Pang (Lucky7), Alaric Tay (18 Grams of Love) and Pamelyn Chee (Princess of Nebraska). Panelists to be confirmed: Lim Kay Tong (Perth) and Lim Yu Beng (Singapore Dreaming).
Save the date and see you there on Wednesday January 21st at Sinema Old School!
