“A routine Friday noon prayer transforms itself into a life-changing experience for Master Haji Sabtu when he fails to locate his valuable pair of sandals. He could have just picked another pair of footwear from the various piles scattered on the mosque compound but his conscience prevented him from doing so. For him, it is not dignified to walk barefoot outdoors. How is Haji Sabtu going to find his sandals and regain his dignity?”
